This mead is made using an old Welsh recipe dating back to 47 AD. Made using apples, lemon juice and raisins. a Melomel style of mead and very popular.

A fruity mead to with initial taste of lemon and apple with an after earthy taste of raisins.

Mead is made with west Sussex multi flower honey sliced apples, pressed lemon juice and raisins
The addition of the lemons gives it a sharp flavour, a unique mead which had had me struggling to keep it stocked.

As this is a natural product, some hazing and sedimentation is likely to occur. Leave to settle in a cool, dark place and pour carefully. This a natural part of the maturation process and is not harmful to consumer or product. In fact, it will taste even better for it and it is why we use a decanter style bottle.
